A Look Beneath The Surface
Is the earth getting warmer? Is the weather really changing? To properly answer those questions we have to do something most people don't do today. We must accurately define our subject. Here's an example. Everyone that recently visited a gas station is painfully aware that we're in a severe energy crisis driven by the high cost of oil. We hear terms such as "peak oil" tossed around by the media. The term "peak oil" is commonly understood to mean that the world is running out of oil--and "peak oil" means that our total production has "peaked" and is now in decline. Yet, ignorance concerning these global resources allow every political opportunist to deceive the public with misinformation. I happen to believe that peak oil is a reality, but for entirely different reasons. The world is not out of oil. Actually, we still have an abundant resource. What we're running out of is "inexpensive oil". There's plenty of resources available--but you have to go thousands of feet beneath the earth's surface to tap it. This can double or triple the original cost of getting a barrel of oil out of the ground, or from beneath the ocean bedrock. What used to cost 30 to 50 dollars a barrel is beginning to cost 100 to 150 dollars--and our energy prices are rising to reflect this change.
Our government knew this crisis was coming 35 years ago, yet chose to use it as a political weapon to manipulate the public rather than actully solve the problem. Now the crisis is upon us and we can't quickly fix it in a few years. Just last week I watched in horror as politicians (who are suppose to be educated and "smart") line up to accuse the oil companies for the high energy prices. Yet, when these same "smart" people pass laws that block new oil exploration--when they allow the environmental lobby to block the building of new refineries--when they saddle the oil industry with back-breaking new taxes that take away the financial strength necessary to make new energy sources (including alternate forms) available--you get HIGHER ENERGY PRICES. It's the simple law of supply and demand that no one pays attention to anymore. When demand for a product outstrips supply--prices go up. I wonder if we, as a society, will have the same dedication to the doctrine of Global Warming when it costs $2500 a month to heat our homes in the winter and $500 a week to fuel our automobiles? Will we finally wake up when our children start to go hungry because food costs are driven through the roof by higher transportation and shipping costs? Have we lost "common sense" so much that it will take these conditions in order to wake us up? Do I believe in peak oil? Absolutely--but to properly understand the problem you must know certain facts. Blindly believing the information offed to us by corrupt politicians and paid environmental propaganda agents in the media will guarantee that the real problem is never solved.
This difficult process of "discovering facts" also applies to the subject of Global Warming. Do I believe that the earth is getting warmer, resulting in climate change? Yes, I do. But, I have to accurately define my position. Much of the commentary by some scientists and other so-called "professionals" is actually cleverly crafted misinformation and faulty science that is driven by a dangerous political agenda. For the global warming advocates to win the hearts of the public, they must amplify information that support their arguments--and avoid or discredit other facts (and those who reveal it) that disprove their theories. In any political debate the objective is usually not "truth"--but persuasion. Many times the goal is to to win at any cost. The situation changes from a debate to a desperate struggle that will stop at nothing when large amounts of money, jobs and political power are at risk. The Global Warming agenda (a political movement) involves billions of dollars now—but will become trillions of dollars in a few short years. You and I will be forced to foot the bill for this.
In several articles on this website I've mentioned effective "information warfare tactics" that are used to move society toward one of the most ruthless and evil totalitarian systems of government the world has ever seen. If these tactics are left unchallenged this agenda will succeed--and in many ways has already succeeded. Many of us were horrified to see the "dumbing down" of our society by the public education system--starting with our youngest children, who are the most impressionable. As a result, what used to be understood as "common sense" (the Bible calls it "wisdom") is very hard to find. This tragic condition has reached an almost irreversible state that now guarantees the total collapse of our society. Today, the average citizen allows the so-called "professionals" to think for them. This “herd mentality” dominates our society. Through the media--it's easy to "whip" society into a state of hysteria and mass panic through the use of carefully disigned disinformation. Once this kind of fear sets in--all rational thinking goes out the window.
Two very potent forces drive the current Global Warming crisis. One is an ancient false religion involving the worship of nature--or earth worship. This pagan religion is vehemently anti-Christian in its goals. It elevates the sanctity of nature above the value of human life. This religion has already judged the human race as "guilty" of destroying the earth according to its presumed "inerrant scientific methods". I believe Saint Paul could have been referring to this influential religious movement in the first century when he wrote:
"Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen." (Rom 1:21-25)
The beliefs of this religion are frightening. The controlled extermination of human life as a method of "population control" is an acceptable remedy to preserve their "god". The proponents of this religion number in the millions. They include professional people from every level of society. The members of this global religion do not meet in a church building. Nature is their sanctuary and method of fellowship. It is very real, influential and well funded. I'm not calling environmentalism a religion just to stir your emotions. It is a real "scientific" religion that many of us ignore. Yet, the other dangerous driving force behind environmentalism is political--and works from inside local and national governments. When we take a close look at the movement--we discover that they embrace a Marxist form of socialism (it used to be called communism) that ruled the "free love" and anti-war movement of the 1960's. Principles of Marxism dominate their political ideology. The youth of the "anti-establishement" era of the 1960's are now corporate CEO's, bankers, doctors, theologians, engineers, scientists and politicians. They've infiltrated every area of society. One of their objectives is to "persuade" citizens of industrialized nations into accepting a "socialist-style" (think communist) form of government that has the authority to impose an oppressive world-wide system of taxation.
History sternly warns us that the power to tax automatically carries with it the power to destroy. Liberal politicians are now beginning the next phase of this agenda to "adjust" society to the idea that these "carbon taxes" are critical to ensure planetary survival and "environmental responsibility". You are labeled as an outcast if you don't agree with their conclusions. Now we see the United Nations seeking to impose an "international tax" (in addition to the oppressive tax burden of our own governments) on every citizen in every industrialized nation to fund the effort to combat climate change. What most of us aren't told is that this tax will be used to fund a type of "global environmental government" with the power to control the lives of everyone on earth. Those of us that lived through the era of the 1950's and 60's know that "global domination" is one of the long-range objectives of socialism and communism. Recently, we learned that President Bush has effectively agreed to surrender the United States to their demands--a very disappointing development. One of the goals is to penalize countries--such as America--that refused to yield control of its own government and economy to this dangerous global policy by failing to sign the Kyoto treaty. You will discover that the agenda beneath the rhetoric is not really about global warming. It's about breaking down all the troublesome Constitutional "checks and balances" that prevents any organized movement from imposing a totalitarian-style authority over the affairs of our country.
Imagine, if Germany and Japan had defeated allied forces in World War II. America fought a war on two fronts to stop this threat--and nearly lost. Hitler implemented his "final solution" that mandated the genocide of the Jewish race. Hitler believed the world would be better off without the Jew. Today, we have a political movement that believes the world would be better off without human beings--whose very existence harms planet earth. We are about to willingly hand over this same destructive power to a political force committed to control every aspect of our lives under the guise of "global safety and survival". Millions of citizens in various countries sacrificed their lives to stop these evil political leaders of WWII. Yet, most people refuse to recognize that the dangerous agenda of these totalitarian leaders from the 1940's--still operates today within an unsuspecting generation. Different names and labels are used to hide the true ideologies behind their programs. History is about to repeat itself with disastrous consequences. Like a persistent laboratory scientist these influential political groups continually experiment with various combinations of "social doctrines" and programs in order to discover which one is the most effective at "herding" the masses toward their goals. They discovered that an unholy alliance between religion and politics energized by fear and our instinct for survival--works the best. People are literally falling over each other to get in line with the religion of environmentalism. They are willing to sell-out their children's future freedoms to fight a problem created by faulty scientific methods. The modern doctrine of global warming is about undermining all forms of national sovereignty so that the internal affairs of all nations are indirectly controlled in the name of "planetary survival and safety".
American sovereignty has been irreversibly damaged by the efforts of our own elected officials who implement this agenda. Year after year Americans foolishly re-elect these corrupt career politicians. One radio talk-show host refers to them as "the enemy within" -- and I agree with his assessment. The "enemy within" is exactly what they are. They'll smile, shake your hand, kiss your baby and promise you the moon to get your vote. They promise to provide better schools for our kids, yet carelessly spend our hard-earned tax dollars to provide all kinds of social entitlements because "they care". The reckless spending of public money is used as a way to "buy" their re-election for another term. When are we ever going to wake up? Like the dumb sheep we are--we trust them again and again. Who wouldn't want their elected officials to award them money and benefits from the public till? Americans are only now beginning to learn that their country is bankrupt because of these "I feel your pain" give-away programs. I guess--because of these "good intentions" we can ignore the other "less important" things they do--like incrementally destroying America's Constitutional freedoms and economic resources--from within. Who really cares? Most voters just say, "Show Me The Money". If you preserve my comfortable lifestyle and make me feel good about myself--you'll have my vote. America can't remain free with this kind of ignorance.
Identifying The Players
My interest in science and technology began early in life. I am intensely interested in new technologies that can keep our air and water clean. Personally, I believe it's long past due for our society to make the switch away from crude oil to cleaner and more abundant forms of energy. Yet, the reason offered by the environmentalists for this change--is that our current fuels contribute to what they call "greenhouse gases", or CO2. They insist that these "carbon emissions" are the cause of all climate change. They tell us at every opportunity that humans are the cause. It's taught as "the gospel truth" in all public schools. Environmentalists commonly refer to this as the "carbon footprint". For this reason there is a global effort to impose a tax on all citizens of the world according to the amount of "carbon emissions" they are responsible for. If you haven't heard about this program--be patient, you will.
Currently, there are hundreds of new start-up companies around the world attempting to address and eliminate this "carbon footprint" because it's causing global warming and climate change. In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with attempting to eliminate carbon emissions with new products and technology. However, their entire business plan is based on the false science of global warming. Many of the more credible scientists from around the world are proving that CO2 emissions do not cause climate change or global warming. They already know that climate change is not driven by the CO2 content of the atmosphere. These dedicated scientists show us through proper scientific methods that the warming and cooling cycles on our planet are normal and occur through natural means--largely driven by cycles of solar activity on the sun. This is why we're seeing that, while the earth is warming--so are all the inner planets, including Mars. We're also learning that these warming cycles are tied, not to CO2--but to extreme solar activity and cosmic radiation that run in cycles and can last for decades. It is a known fact that the earth has been far warmer than it is now in times past--and that this warmer period occurred long before humans began using "fossil fuels". Remember that we said "common sense" has disappeared in society today? If the planets in our solar system are also warming--that alone should tell you something important about the popular doctrine of climate change. Should it surprise us that these findings anger those who have billions of dollars and a global political power structure at risk? If you want a quick way to identify the individuals involved in the "political agenda" of global warming--listen to their words. When you hear them defend terms like carbon footprint, greenhouse gases and a "carbon tax"--beware. Cable television and the news media constantly exposes us to this propaganda.
With mass hysteria over "extreme weather", warmer temperatures and melting polar ice caps--most people are willing to surrender. They are coerced into fearing for their own life and the lives of their children--not knowing they've been told lies. For the rest of us that can still think for ourselves--we will be forced to submit by government mandate. This is all by design, which is why the producers of "The Global Warming Swindle" have our support. These scientists are reporting many things I've instinctively known for the last 10 years. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that their lives and the lives of their families were threatened because of their work and testimony. At Rock Of Offence we cannot just turn our head and avoid this problem. It's one of the major driving forces that will push the citizens of our planet into the final world government of the last days--an evil ungodly governmental system the Bible warns us about. Reasonable people won't embrace this form of government--unless they are fooled by one of the most convincing cons in history. The Bible calls it "strong delusion".
"For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (II Th 2:7-12)
