WHY THE LAST YEAR OF THE TRIB IS A 49th YEAR

Purpose: To briefly explain why it's
important for the tribulation to end before the finish of a jubilee year.

The Law of the Seventh year, the Sabbatical year, and the Seventh x Seventh
year, the 49th year, was given to the nation of Israel, NOT the Church, in
Leviticus 25.
This is the LAW of the Jubilee Year:
"And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times
seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee
forty and nine years. Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound
on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make
the trumpet sound throughout all your land. AND YE SHALL HALLOW THE FIFTIETH
YEAR, AND PROCLAIM LIBERTY THROUGHOUT ALL THE LAND UNTO ALL THE INHABITANTS
THEREOF: IT SHALL BE A JUBILEE UNTO YOU; YE SHALL RETURN EVERY MAN UNTO HIS
FAMILY. A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow,
neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of
thy vine undressed. For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall
eat the increase thereof out of the field. IN THE YEAR OF THIS JUBILEE YE SHALL
RETURN EVERY MAN UNTO HIS POSSESSION." Lev 25:8-13
In Leviticus 25:23 the Lord said ..."The land shall not be sold for ever:
for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me."
However, God made a conditional promise of an inheritance to each of the Twelve
Tribes of their own eternal section of the land of Israel, IF they were
"in covenant" with Him- meaning they had repented of their sins and
fully believed and trusted in Him for their salvation.
This "condition" could never be met until AFTER final retribution,
AFTER final repentance, AFTER final restoration and AFTER finally coming to
eternal rest, which will only occur at the end of the Tribulation/the beginning
of the Kingdom.
This eternal inheritance will be given to each Tribe by the Prince-Yeshua
Messiah, inside the Kingdom of David, in the Year of Jubilee- at which time
"every man shall return unto his possession," at the beginning of the
Kingdom, in Ezekiel 45, 47 and 48.
One of the most important Bible prophecies given to the nation of Israel is
Daniel 9:24-27. It says:
"Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city,
1)to finish the transgression, 2)and to make an end of sins, 3)and to make
reconciliation for iniquity, 4)and to bring in everlasting righteousness,
5)and to seal up the vision and prophecy, 6)and to anoint the most Holy. Know
therefore and understand, that FROM the going forth of the commandment to
restore and to build Jerusalem UNTO MESSIAH the Prince shall be seven weeks,
and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall,
even in troublous times. And AFTER threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be
CUT OFF, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come
shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a
flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall
confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he
shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading
of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and
that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."
The word "determined" #2852 in Hebrew means: decreed, divide, decide,
cut off
"seventy weeks" is 70 "weeks" of years meaning 70
sabbatical cycles x 7 which equals 490 years.
One jubilee cycle = 49 years. Therefore 490 years = 10 Jubilee cycles, 490/7=70
The Holy Spirit is telling Daniel that a certain period of time of 490 years
has been assessed by the Lord, against the nation of Israel, at the end of which
time ALL will be fully accomplished, cut off and completely fulfilled.
Notice this time period of 490 years is divided into two parts: first,
"UPON THY PEOPLE" followed by "UPON THY HOLY CITY."
WITHIN this assessed period of 10 Jubilee cycles- 6 very important and critical
elements MUST BE ACCOMPLISHED AND FINISHED: Notice again what they are:
1)to FINISH the transgression,
2)and to MAKE AN END OF SIN,
3)and to MAKE RECONCILIATION for iniquity,
4)and to BRING IN everlasting righteousness,
5)and to SEAL UP the vision and prophecy, 6)and to ANOINT the most Holy.
There is ONLY one time in all of history that all these six critical elements
could ever BE ACCOMPLISHED and FINISHED, by the ONE and ONLY PERSON ever to be
qualified to FINISH such a task!
That Person is Yeshua the Messiah-Savior-Redeemer, AT THE CROSS, when He was
"cut-off" AFTER... but "not for himself"...but, "UPON
THY PEOPLE."
Notice again that these six absolutes MUST be accomplished and finished...
INSIDE AND WITHIN...the 70 weeks of years, INSIDE the FINAL '70th' week...NOT
OUTSIDE...the FINAL '70th' week.
These 6 elements could and would never be "accomplished" during the
time of the Tribulation- or any other time- EXCEPT AT THE CROSS! However, it is
true that Yeshua will PHYSICALLY again "cleanse the the sanctuary,"
the altar and priesthood of Israel, at the end of the Tribulation, according to
Daniel 8:14.
Therefore, Yeshua, the Son of God accomplished and finished the six elements
WITHIN THE FIRST HALF OF the "70TH WEEK"- during His 3 year ministry
to Israel, "UPON THY PEOPLE."
These 70 Sabbatical cycles of Daniel 9, are overlaid upon the CORRECT
sabbatical cycle of the nation of Israel in order.
"Know therefore and understand, that FROM the going forth of the
commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem..."
This commandment was given by King Artaxerxes of Babylon to the prophet-high
priest Ezra, in Ezra chapter 7. Ezra was qualified in all areas to RESTORE the
Law, the Levitical system, the economy, and the social order of the city of
Jerusalem, and to oversee the rebuilding of the city. [Nehemiah was only a
political figure, hence was NOT qualified to RESTORE the order of the
priesthood and the Law, etc. He was ONLY commanded to rebuild THE WALL of
Jerusalem- Neh 2.]
The decree of Artaxerxes began in a Sabbatical year, and I believe it can be
proved by Scripture that year was ALSO a 49th year, [counted from 11 Kings 19,
which is dated in history as 701 b.c.] That year was 456/455 b.c. as Ezra 7:9
tells us Ezra left Babylon for Jerusalem on Nisan 1, and arrived in Jerusalem 5
months later on Av 1.
"FROM Artaxerxes......UNTO MESSIAH [Anointed One] the Prince shall be
seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks:"
7x7 = 49 years + 60 x7 = 420 years + 2x7 years = 14 years = 483 years, which
equals "69 weeks" 483/7 = 69
From the beginning of the decree- to the arrival of Messiah to Israel = 69
Sabbatical cycles.
ALL Bible dating from Exodus 12 thru to the end of the Bible is dated on the
Sacred calendar- the spring calendar, beginning in the first month of Nisan...
EXCEPT-
the commandment for the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. They are to begin and end
on the Jewish civil calendar- in the fall, beginning with Tishri 1.
The Sabbatical year of Artaxerxes command began on Tishri 1 of 456 b.c., but
Ezra left for Jerusalem 6 months later-in the spring of 455 b.c. after 1/2 of
the sabbatical year had already passed.
From Tishri 1, 456 b.c. to Elul 29, 27 a.d. = 483 years/69 sabbatical
"weeks"
The 69th sabbatical year CLOSED on Elul 29 of 27 a.d.
DANIEL'S "70TH" SABBATICAL CYCLE OPENED ON TISHRI 1, 27 a.d. and
Yeshua the Messiah came to Israel and was baptized 6 months later, in the
SPRING of 28 a.d. at the end of the latter rain...at which time the Jordan
River is FULL OF WATER- Jos 3:15. One half of the sabbatical year had already
elapsed by the time Yeshua first appeared in Israel.
Carefully note the next wording of the prophecy:
"And AFTER threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be CUT OFF, BUT NOT FOR
HIMSELF:
"AFTER" (the 7 weeks and threescore and two weeks)...SHALL MESSIAH BE
CUT OFF, BUT NOT FOR HIMSELF..."
AFTER the 69 weeks are fulfilled, and INTO the FINAL '70th' week- shall Messiah
be CUT OFF AT THE CROSS..BUT NOT FOR HIMSELF...
FOR THE PEOPLE...first for the people of Israel and then, for all mankind.
In other words: YESHUA THE MESSIAH, THE SAVIOR/REDEEMER OF THE NATION OF ISRAEL
AND THE WHOLE WORLD- FULFILLED THE FIRST HALF OF DANIEL'S '70TH'
WEEK..."FOR THY PEOPLE"...(OF DANIEL)...
which leaves the LAST HALF of Daniel's '70'th week to be fulfilled "UPON
THY HOLY CITY" in the LAST HALF of the Tribulation when:
"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people
round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against
Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all
people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all
the people of the earth be gathered together against it."
Zech 12:2-3 and
"But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not;
for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under
foot forty and two months" Rev 11:2
Other names for the LAST half of Daniel's '70th week' are:
"the great and terrible Day of the Lord"- Joel 2:31
the "times of the Gentiles"- Luke 21:24
"be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to
that same time:" Dan 12:1
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the
world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. " Matt 24:21
The LAST half of the '70th' week BEGINS at the season of "the grape
harvest" for the last 3.5 years of the Tribulation- which culminates in
the battle of Armageddon- Rev 14:17-20
The FIRST half of the 7 year Tribulation is referred to in the Bible as
"pangs" (of childbirth)- Micah 4:9; the TRAVAIL of the woman: in Rev
12:2; Jer 4:31; 13:21; 30:6; Mic 4:10; 1 Thess 5:3
None of the redeemed that come to salvation in the FIRST half of the
Tribulation during the time of THE TRAVAIL of the woman Judah- are subject to
the LAST half of Daniel's '70th' week, and are protected in Heaven or on the
earth- hidden "in the cleft of the Rock."
As John 16:21 says: "A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because
her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth
no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world."
The redeemed of Israel will have "travailed in birth" in order to
"deliver the Manchild/Messiah up to the throne of His Father" in the
FIRST half of the Tribulation- in order for Him to be crowned and take His seat
on the Throne in the MIDDLE of the Tribulation as the King of kings and Lord of
lords, after which "her pain is over."
Therefore- IN ORDER for Daniel's FINAL 7th/49th/490th year to END in Israel's
CORRECT Sabbatical year- the Tribulation MUST BEGIN in the correct Sabbatical
year in order that the long-promised inheritance of the Twelve Tribes' ETERNAL
land heritages may be awarded to them by the PRINCE-MESSIAH as their own tribal
possessions FOREVERMORE- in the Jubilee year- which will begin on Tishri 10,
2016, Jewish year, 5777, as the first Jubilee year of 20 in the 1,000 year
Kingdom Age...
IF God's correct Sabbatical years are 5769
and 5776.
As 2008, 5768, was "the Great Solar Year"-the 28th year of the cycle-
by going back all the way by 28's- one will come to 456 b.c. which allows THAT
year- the beginning year of Daniel's 70 weeks, to ALSO be "a Great Solar
Year."
3.5 years from Tishri 1, 27 a.d. brings one to the year of the Cross, the
spring of 31 a.d.
It is a historical fact that the Second Temple was only burned down in 70 a.d.
However, remnants of the Temple were left upon its foundation. It was not until
71 a.d. that the Roman general, Titus, came back into Jerusalem with his army
and scattered and cleared the Temple site of its remaining ruins. He then
proceeded to spread salt upon the grounds in order that “there not be left
here, one stone upon another” according to Roman historian, Josephus. There is
a telescoping prophecy about this in Micah 3:12, which also extends down thru
the 7 years of the Tribulation: “Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed
as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as
the high places of the forest.” [the second link at the bottom presents this
historical evidence- although I personally do not agree with all points of view
on this site].
If indeed 31 a.d. turns out to be the correct date of the Cross, then EXACTLY
40 years in the future, one Biblical generation later, in 71 a.d., Yeshua’s
near-prophecy came true, just as He had said it would.
There is some historical evidence that 31 a.d. was ALSO a "year of perfect
order" although the ancient Jewish calendar does not reveal that fact: Dr.
David Reagan has written a scholarly article on this at the first link below:

Additional Comments
Yes...I am saying there is a 7 months interval between
Y'shua's return to Israel and the opening of the Jubilee year on the next
Tishri 10.
In other words, Daniel's 490th year will not end until Elul 29, 2016, 5776. The
next day, Tishri 1, 5777 will open, and since the Sabbaticals and Jubilees are
to be counted on the fall calendar, according to Lev 25, which commandment has
NEVER been changed in Scripture- then...10 days later- on Tishri 10, Day of
Atonement- the trumpet will blow and herald the opening of the Jubilee year. It
is inside the Jubilee that the Tribal inheritances are awarded.
There will be many things taking place in Jerusalem and Israel during these
intervening 7 months- among some of them are:
the judgment of the surviving Gentile Tribulation nations- referred to as
"the sheep and the goat" nations in Matt 25:32-33, in which the
"Gentile sheep" nations are invited into the Kingdom by the Lord.
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb will be taking place "at the END of the
Marriage Week" at the end of the Tribulation/beginning of the Kingdom,
with all the O.T. saints and the Tribulation saints taking part as the
"invited guests" to the Marriage Supper of the Bride and the Lamb.
Then there will be Feast days to observe.
Then, Yeshua will lay the "foundation" to the Third Temple- Ezekiel's
Temple in "the second month" of Iyar in the same month that the two
previous foundation stones were laid, because:
He, the Branch will build the Temple: Look again at what Zechariah 6:12-15 says
about this:
"And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying,
Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place,
and he shall build the temple of the LORD: Even he shall build the temple of
the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne;
and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be
between them both. And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to
Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of the
LORD. AND THEY THAT ARE FAR OFF SHALL COME AND BUILD IN THE TEMPLE OF THE LORD,
and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall
come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God."
And, there will be many other things obviously that will take place in
"setting up the Kingdom" about which the Bible is silent, the
building of homes, planting of private grape vineyards, etc, etc.
Can you hardly stand to wait any longer? How exciting! What a great future the
beloved of the Lord have in store for them!

I neglected to point out that the the spring of 31 a.d. was the 486.5 year of
Daniel's total 490 years.
If Dr. Wacholder's sabbatical cycle is correct, then Yeshua hung on the Cross
on Wednesday- in the MIDDLE of the 7 day week, in the MIDDLE of a 7 year
sabbatical cycle, in the MIDDLE of the week of Passover, in the MIDDLE of
Daniel's "70th week."
Yeshua Messiah 's position is ALWAYS IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL THINGS- OF 3,5,7,9
etc!
Indeed, He is the true 'SHAMASH'- THE BLESSED SERVANT CANDLE!
