The “Potential” Future ScenarioA Study By Pastor F.M. RileyGod’s inspired Word explicitly states in Revelation 8:7 that when the First Trumpet sounds “…hail and fire mingled with blood…” are “…cast upon the earth: and the third part of the earth was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.” Isn’t this exactly what is predicted in the prophecy transliterated by Peter on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2:19? “and I will show wonders [miraculous signs] in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke: the sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:…” Every true believer who seriously studies and believes the prophecies knows that “signs” have been showing up in the heavens since the beginning of this present 21st century, but over the past two to three years these “signs” have greatly increased. This same thing can be said about “…signs in the earth beneath...” Some of the greatest earthquakes in human history have occurred since the beginning of this present century, and more are occurring with nearly every passing day. Immediately after Peter said, “…signs in the earth beneath;” he then added an inspired description of such “signs,” “…blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke…” This is the exact thing that John predicted to be “…cast upon the earth…” in Revelation 8:7 at the sounding of the First Trumpet. Is this just coincidence? Think about it! Is it then also “just coincidence” that what is occurring in the Gulf RIGHT NOW has the potential to fulfill both of these prophecies to the letter? Well…?? RIGHT NOW the entire Gulf coast area [a thousand plus miles east to west and almost that width north to south] is filled with oil and chemicals, and highly flammable fumes from the chemicals. The oil is also flammable when the right temperature and source of flame is applied to set it off. Now guess what our illustrious politicians are seriously contemplating doing to stop the flow of oil? They are now seriously discussing exploding A NUCLEAR BOMB at the bottom of the sea in an effort to stop the flow of oil from the sea bed. Oh, yes they are! The Russian government has been urging the United States to take such action before all the seas and oceans of the earth are contaminated. As recently as yesterday [June 29th] former President Bill Clinton made a speech shown on national TV urging the Obama administration to shut off the flow of oil with A NUCLEAR BOMB and thereby “save the world.” Sic! Sic! [That’s a double sic!] Is this a good idea? Keep in mind that the floor of the sea bed is already fractured and is leaking both oil and methane gas in numerous places. Keep in mind that a gigantic methane gas bubble is trapped under the sea floor and is actually causing the sea floor to bulge upward under the pressure being exerted upon it by the trapped methane. So what could actually happen if a NUCLEAR BOMB was exploded under these conditions? Rather than stopping the flow of oil, the nuclear bomb could break up the sea floor releasing in an instant all of the methane gas trapped there. Think about it! Dear readers, there exists RIGHT NOW a potential for an explosion unlike any previous explosion in all of human history. The explosion of the NUCLEAR BOMB could easily produce the high temperature and “spark” necessary to ignite all of the oil and the toxic chemicals and flammable gases in the entire Gulf of Mexico [don’t forget the radiation] and the surrounding area, turning the entire area into one GIGANTIC EXPLOSION AND FIRESTORM that could literally “wipe out” this entire western hemisphere. Every city, town, village, home, and combustible structure would instantly explode into flames. Further, Such an explosion would literally shake the entire earth. There is no question in my mind that the shock wave from the explosion would set off the New Madrid fault along the Mississippi River, the San Andreas fault along the west coast, the Yellowstone super volcano caldera in Wyoming, and the Lord only knows how many more fault lines and volcanoes in this country and around the whole earth. Every man made dam in this country would be destroyed releasing hundreds of millions of gallons of water to go roaring down river beds destroying everything in their path. Such an explosion would also create a tsunami [tidal wave] in the Gulf hundreds of feet high that would sweep inland over the U.S., Mexico and Central America, Cuba and the Caribbean islands, and even over parts of South America. IN ONE TERRIBLE 24 HOUR PERIOD THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WOULD CEASE TO EXIST, and very likely all of the nations in the whole “western hemisphere” would also be destroyed at the same time. MILLIONS OF PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY AND THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE WESTERN HEMISPHERE WOULD DIE! Also the entire earth would be plunged into TOTAL DARKNESS as the upper atmosphere of the earth was filled with smoke from the initial explosion and from a million fires kindled throughout the western hemisphere of the earth. This smoke would totally block out the light of the Sun for ????? days. God only knows! Impossible you say! It can’t happen! Surely Almighty God would not even allow something like this to happen! Why would the Lord allow something like this to occur? Why..?? Because there are wicked men living on this earth today who insist on “playing God” rather than submitting themselves to God. The gullible public looks up to these wicked men as “great leaders” of the world, and obediently and blindly follows their “leadership” instead of looking to the Lord God of Heaven who created them. THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES TO PAY for such blind devotion, exaltation, and worship of wicked men, rather than worshiping and serving the God who created man. Read Isaiah 24:1-6 again. In fact, carefully read Revelation 8:7 again and ask the Lord to give you the “faith” to believe His Word. Your eternal destiny may very well depend upon it! And while you are reading, read Isaiah 45:21-23.
